Popular crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter, is making your life easier today by introducing rewards scheduling. This means you won’t have to worry about constantly updating your Kickstarter campaign page when certain rewards become unavailable.
The new rewards scheduling allows you to do things: set a backer limit or time limit for a specific reward. For example, if you want to create a launch day reward, you can set it to expire at a specific time. Best of all, you can set these reward timers before your campaign even launches.

For backers, the new rewards scheduling makes it more obvious when a reward becomes unavailable with a new overlay that reads “Reward no longer available.”
“Announcing new reward tiers during your campaign can garner excitement about limited editions or special offerings,” writes Kickstarter in a blog post. By having rewards automated before campaign launch, you save yourself the stress and headache of announcing new tiers and rewards.
Today’s announcement also closes a loophole that allowed someone to swoop in on a reward if a backer backs out of their pledge. By scheduling a time for the reward to be disabled, no one will be able to swoop to take the place of someone who backed out of their pledge.
